Saddles and Sorcery is an adventure fantasy animated series (hopefully to be) created by Reg M.When a fantastical world loses its magic, the last mage and an analytic twelve-year-old must work together and stop the end of the world in a Western-inspired, modern day comedy adventure.Combine Spaghetti Western elements with high fantasy worldbuilding and the humor for middle schoolers and you get Saddles and Sorcery!
George R. Madison is a young, incredibly anxious man who could also be seen as incredibly boring. His hobbies include reading and stamp collecting. He wears woolen sweaters. He’s never watched a horror movie. He also happens to be the only one left in the world who can wield magic the way it once was, without any kind of relic or artifact.The last thing George wants to do is be put in the spotlight. So when he moves to the dusty Flatdry Plains to flee from his demons, he wouldn’t imagine expecting any kind of monster, crook, or villain.However, he’s quickly pulled into a world full of heroes, conspiracy, history, and minor instances of tax fraud as he is chosen by a deity to SAVE THE WORLD, creates a business with a twelve year old, and becomes a prime target of a government organization. All with the intention of bringing back an olden, magical era for their own gain.Despite all of the expectations, George is trying his best, because that’s all he can really manage in this situation.
Saddles and Sorcery follows the fearful George R. Madison and pragmatic Olive "Twelve Year Old" Tetramina as they make their way across the magical Flatdry Plains, solving people's problems for money. Along the way, they stick their noses in places noses should really not be stuck in and find themselves getting into situations such as:Dungeons and Dragons Time LoopMall Complex of Only Hallmark StoresDESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY!!!A Strangely Large Amount of Blimps in this Day and Age...and also their fair share of serious problems, like looking into the past to remember what the world forgot, and protecting the people they love. Cause that's what being a hero's all about, right?
